1814 Lead-coloured Pug (Eupithecia plumbeolata)

Lead-coloured Pug is a small pug species with a characteristically straight leading edge to the forewing, no discal spot and no red base to the abdomen.

The species has a thinly scattered distribution in the UK, though further searches in areas where the foodplant (Common Cow-wheat) grows could increase the current known distribution.
